Surprise 38 Year Old Farm Wife Delivers Quadruplets
In Nashville Arkansas a 38 year old farm wife Mrs Hagegal Ponder gave birth to quadruplets three boys and a girl at her farm home north of Murfreesboro. The first baby arrived at 7 10 pm with others at 7 15 7 30 and 7 45 pm. Dr Duncan expressed equal surprise noting he expected twins. Death Ends Marriage Of 74 Years in W. Va
Funeral services today for Ella Susan Gerhardt age 86 who celebrated a 74th wedding anniversary. She died Sunday in a local hospital after admission December 24. Her husband L. D. Gerhardt served 35 years as Berkeley County Circuit Court clerk. She was born in Gettysburg Pennsylvania and is survived by a son Col. William R.
