New Corvair: Shorter, faster custom car by Winchester pair

Sam Headley of Winchester Unlimited Auto Works and Rem Cussen rebuilt a Corvair into a 19 inch shorter, 5 inch wider drag racing styled car with a removable moon roof and tan interior. They claim it handles as well as any car, averages about 22 mpg, and envision selling the vehicle while noting it’s built for show. Winchester Elks sponsor a Red Cross Blood Mobile visit on Jan 17 at Christ Episcopal Church Parish House, urging donors.
