A blaze last night damaged the Loudoun News Inc. plant in Leesburg, threatening surrounding buildings. Wilbur Hall estimated losses above 5000 dollars for the six room building and equipment as half the weekly run was about to be distributed. Overheated stove and power outages hindered alarms. Purcellville and Leesburg firefighters joined to control the fire. The Loudoun News, started years ago by a stock company led by Hall with Dorsey and Berryville residents among stockholders, had Carr as its first general manager who has since retired.
