End of Strike May Help Fuel Oil Supply
The mediation service announced an agreement to end the 10 day old Texas City refinery strike. About 1400 workers will return to their jobs tomorrow with a 12 cent per hour wage increase, pending ratification by the CIO oil workers' union.
