Community Groups Schedule January Meetings
Auxiliary of Winchester Union Rescue Mission meets January 9 at 7 p.m. at the Union Rescue Mission Home. Other gatherings include the Methodist Men in Ridgeway WV for a covered dish dinner, the Winchester Coin Club at 7:30 p.m. in the War Memorial Building, and various Extension Homemaker meetings through January. The James Wood Band Boosters meet January 9 at 7:30 p.m. at James Wood High School to discuss the spring trip. A senior citizens swim program runs Tuesdays 2 to 3:30 p.m. starting January 10 at the War Memorial Building pool with free transportation from the Frederick County Recreation Department.
