Mother and children rescued from wrecked cannery tender
Thirteen people including a mother and six children were rescued from the ice strewn Alaska coast after the Spencer wrecked opposite Kodiak on New Year's Eve. Frostbite and exposure affected ten survivors on board. three rescuers from the Navy Tug Matag from the stranded party were also saved after their boat overturned.
