Society Matron Is Sentenced For Nurse Killing
Mrs Irene Mansfeldt a San Francisco society matron receives one to ten years for the killing of nurse Mrs Vada Martin whom she suspected of an affair with her husband Dr John Mansfeldt. The jury found she was sane and eligible for parole after about a year and a half with good behavior credits. Dr Mansfeldt killed himself soon after the shooting.
