Mrs Alberta Guard Shannon longtime Stephens City resident died in her sleep at age 81 after a brief illness. Young Man Seriously Injured In Motorcycle Crash
Charles Hatfield 22 of Connellsville Pa was thrown from a tandem motorcycle when it skidded on a curve 10 miles west of Winchester on the Northwestern grade. He suffered skull fracture and internal injuries and was taken to Winchester Memorial Hospital in critical condition. His brother Harry Hatfield escaped with only a severe shaking.
