The Woodmen of the World WOW chapter in Winchester dates to 1901 with 50 local members. Field reps Hamman Clark and Wanda describe WOW as a non profit life and mortgage insurance society that avoids door to door selling, relies on member referrals, and pays dividends to members. The group supports youth units, civic services, and values character, with policies reviewed by members. The WOW logo is a tree stump symbolizing remembrance and mutual protection.
