Dr Latane dies suddenly at conference in New Orleans
Dr John Holladay Latane of Baltimore renowned for international relations and American diplomatic history died of a heart attack in New Orleans on a return trip from lectures. He was 62, taught at Johns Hopkins since 1913, chaired the history department, and later joined the Walter Hines Page School. Burial anticipated in Lexington, Virginia.

The remains of Leslie E. Huff will be brought to Winchester from Akron Ohio. Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. from the home of James H. Huff 318 East Piccadilly street. Rev W M Brashears will officiate. Interment will be at Mount Hebron Cemetery. He died from injuries at the Goodyear Rubber Company plant in Akron. He is survived by his parents Mr and Mrs Charles H Huff two children Paul and Virginia and three brothers Cecil E James H and William M all of Winchester.
