Freight Cars Derailed Near Swimley Cause Unknown
Traffic on the Shenandoah division of the Baltimore and Ohio railroad was halted at 5 oclock this morning after thirteen westbound freight cars left the rails near Swimley Virginia. A defective rail is suspected though officials continued investigations. No injuries were reported. Tankers upset spilled gasoline creating hazards as wreckage stretched nearly a quarter mile.
