Memorial Service Set for Brigadier General William Mitchell
Friends and admirers of Brigadier General William Mitchell will attend a memorial service at the Episcopal Church in Middleburg Virginia Sunday morning at 10 15 oclock. Known as Billy to his men he led United States air forces and earned wide respect across Winchester and northern Virginia. Mitchell died February 19 in Doctors Hospital New York City from heart trouble and influenza and was buried in Milwaukee Wisconsin February 22.
