Fatal Collision Near Harrisonburg Claims Teens
At 6 30 pm Saturday a light car veered off Valley pike north of Harrisonburg. Frederick Dove 16 perished from a fractured skull. his sister, 4 years old, also died. The driver, presumed injured, and the mother of the children survived with serious injuries. An elderly farmer, about sixty, and others were seriously hurt. The car reportedly struck a pole and overturned after failing to negotiate a curve. Emergency crews attended the scene and hospital examinations followed.
