Jury Awards $225 in Motorcycle Crash Case
In Corporation Court a jury awarded John Jones and others 225 dollars in a 5000 dollar suit. The two day trial followed a September motorcycle truck crash on South Kent Street at Gerard Street in which Jones claimed serious injuries. The truck was driven by R G Lonas and owned by the defendants. Attorneys were Donald Weems for the plaintiffs and T Russell Cather for the defense. The jury retired about 4 30 P M and returned the verdict at six o clock.
