Clarke County Visiting Nurse Association chairman Mrs. Graham Dougherty releases a year end report noting 406 visits across TB orthopedic infant maternal and medical care. Four orthopedic clinics at Winchester Memorial Hospital examined 53 patients with three hospitalizations recommended. Lions Club helped with eye care for two adults and six children. 105 preschool and 820 school children received diphtheria toxoid. 1,064 adults and children had X rays and 10,000 vitamin pills were distributed. Christmas baskets aided 45 families through local generosity.
