Ruth Fuller, 57, of Winchester, has been missing since 5 15 p.m. Wednesday after visiting relatives on Berry. Police said a woman matching her description was seen at a bridge near Rt 7 between 5 45 and 6 p.m. Searchers scoured the Shenandoah River area north and south of the bridge but did not enter the river due to high choppy waters. The effort involved the Winchester Volunteer Squad Berryville Police and Fire Departments State Police and Clarke County Red Cross unit.
