Okey Winemiller appeared in Corporation Court and pleaded guilty to burglary by entering the Western Union Telegraph office and stealing $33, and to jail breaking. Judge Whiting sentenced him to two and a half years on burglary and six months on jail breaking, totaling three years. He will be sent to Richmond penitentiary Sunday with three other prisoners. Police note he is a 26 year old native of Weston, West Virginia, with a troubled record. A separate man linked to recent home entries received six months on the state road force. since their custody, no homes have been entered. Residents remain cautious until a new burglar appears. Winemiller has troubled local authorities, including difficulties with Sheriff Pannett.
