F. Morgan and the couple planned to reside in Capon Bridge after the ceremony. A realty sale note follows for two farms and a city dwelling in Winchester Virginia with a February 17 sale time.

Telephone repair crews rushed to restore lines after a west sweeping gale blew down poles and thousands of feet of wire. Winchester Bell system long-distance tolls were limited to Strasburg, Virginia, as crews worked to reconnect routes and improve local service despite ongoing cold winds. United Telephone reported many long-distance cuts but local and country lines fared better, while Western Union faced notable wire trouble and delays in message delivery.
During a high wind storm Miss Thelmas Kellican, 15, was struck by a billboard at Piccadilly and Kent streets. The billboard had swept from its moorings as she passed. She was carried to a nearby house and then to Dr. C R Anderson's office. She regained consciousness with a swollen neck and head but is not believed seriously hurt. She lives with her aunt Miss Maggie Grubibs at the home of Mr and Mrs A T Ritenour on North Kent Street.
Harry Diamond jailed amid a shooting incident with his wife Mrs. Diamond and chauffeur William Armstrong both hospitalized. Police say the chauffeur fired on Mrs Diamond and Diamond shot the chauffeur in self defense, while Mrs Diamond claims the husband killed the chauffeur and fired three shots.
A golf club purchased the 250 acre Coe farm on Senseney road from Benjamin Massie to site a nine hole course near the city. The land includes 100 acres of bluegrass pasture, timber known as Coe's Woods, a large barn and dwelling, Abram's Creek, and easy access from Benvenue. Continued on the next page.
