Forged 10 Flee For Lives From Burning House
Wardensville West Virginia February 16. The double dwelling on the Linner Michael farm near the village burned last Friday night and into Saturday. Tenant Hubert Whitmyer and his wife with their seven year old boy escaped through a window in night clothes and barefoot. They crossed the Capon river on a 300 foot wire bridge to seek shelter with Mrs. J. J. Jordan as cold and zero weather prevailed. Continued on Page Three.
