Two Area Weekend Crashes Injure Two People
Two people were slightly injured in separate Frederick County traffic crashes over the weekend. One incident on U S Route 7 east of Winchester involved a 1954 International tractor-trailer that left the road after the driver fell asleep, causing fence damage and vehicle damage totaling about $300. The driver, Hubert C. Jennings, 34, of Roanoke, received cuts and a head laceration and was treated at Memorial Hospital before being released. Police and Winchester authorities assisted at the scene.
