Premier Thomson met Nikita Khrushchev in the Kremlin for about two hours. Afterward, Thomson told newsmen that discussions were frank and covered many topics. He noted questions about Soviet arms buildup in Cuba and affirmed Germany’s continued position.
Four sailors were swept overboard from the aircraft carrier Enterprise after a heavy wave struck the flight deck.
