Raymond McDonald Homer McDaniel and Bennie McDaniel pleaded guilty before Trial Justice A J Tavenner today to theft of salvaged aluminum and other articles from a place where they were placed by owner Russell Clem collector of garbage. They were fined 10 dollars and costs a total of 22 dollars 50 cents each. They agreed to refund Clem for the value of the goods. Clem says raids on his salvaged materials have hurt his business profits. Fined and Given Term Another case disposed of by Trial Justice Tavenner is James Barton arrested days ago when caught by Charles Leake with a bag of chickens from Leake hennery near Vaucluse. Barton was given six months in jail and fined 9 dollars 25 cents including costs. It will be recalled that as he was making his getaway from the Leake premises he became confused and bucked a straw rick. While getting his bearings he was seized by the owner of the chickens. Several companions were freed when they were not implicated by testimony.
