Twelve Injured in Chesapeake and Ohio Flyer Wreck near Charleston
Twelve persons remained under hospital care in Charleston area hospitals after four coaches of the George Washington flyer derailed about 10 miles east of the city. Two were seriously hurt as the Cincinnati to Washington limited struck a possible split switch or rail, sending the first coach into a coal train caboose.
