Local notes from Lebanon Church and surrounding areas
Mrs. Florence Hottle has been ill but is improved. Community visits include Mr. Hunter L. Ritenour to Kernstown, Ida Keller shopping in Strasburg, and the Stover family in Strasburg hosting Keller family luncheon. Numerous visitors from Falls Church, Winchester, Vienna, and Baltimore are noted. A claim about petrified forests in Arizona suggests 10 000 feet of rock once covering them, later eroded.
