Europa Likeliest World for Alien Life on Jovian Moon
NASA adviser Richard C. Hoagland argues Voyager 2 data point to a subsurface ocean beneath Europa’s five mile ice crust, possibly 60 miles deep, making it a prime site in the search for life beyond Earth. He notes only Mars Jupiter and Titan have been proposed as life hosts and forecasts Galileo’s 1980s Jupiter flybys to refine the view.
