Seabright Leads Shoot At Four Mile House Match
Arthur Seabright of Winchester won the clay bird shooting event at the Four-Mile House on the Northwestern grade on Christmas day. About 40 trapshooters competed. 25 chickens were shot in various events. Seabright totaled 86 of 90 birds and collected many prizes.

Two Men Held in Still Case in County Court
Frank Snarr and James Bucher were held by Justice Tavenner in the County Magistrate's Court on bonds of 250 dollars each. The county grand jury found a large still and liquor in the western part of the county last week. Sheriff Pangett and Deputy Wigginton located the still on property owned by 76 year old James Bucher of the Mountain Falls area. No one was present at the time, but evidence indicated liquor had just been made and further activity was anticipated.

Luther Brill and Raymond Pomeroy were sentenced to seven years each in the Maryland Penitentiary while William Fraker and Harry Ditmer drew five years apiece for roles in the July 28 tar and feather attacks on Dewey Batt and Walter Thompson near Hagerstown.
