Seven Die In Orange Hotel Fire
Seven persons perished in a hotel fire in Orange Texas with six guests leaping from windows to safety. Buncutter Dies After Long Winchester Life
W A Buncutter 72 a longtime Abin merchant died at Winchester Memorial Hospital at 7 am. He lived at 111 W Mall St and had been hospitalized weeks. He married Emma Lewis in 1898 and moved to Winchester 12 years ago after operating a general store at Albin for about 25 years. He was a Lutheran church member and survived by widow a son three grandchildren a great granddaughter a sister and a brother. Funeral at 2 pm Sunday at his home with Rev. E B Smith presiding. Interment Mt Hebron cemetery.
