Eight men born abroad died after drinking tainted liquor believed to be whiskey in Hartford. Four suspects are under arrest as investigators seek more shipments from a New York supplier. Police warn saloon customers who purchased the liquid bottled for holiday use.
A marriage license was issued today in the Corporation Clerk's office to J. C. Bright of Sutton and Miss Ruby J. Florence of Parkersburg both in West Virginia. The groom is a book keeper in Sutton and the bride’s father is J. W. Florence of Parkersburg.
A decree of absolute divorce was entered in the Corporation Court of Winchester dissolving the marriage of Henry Wood and his wife Mattie W. Wood. Statutory grounds underlie the divorce.

A marriage license was issued in the Corporation Clerk's office in Winchester to George W. Brill and Mrs. Georgia Rinker both residents of the city. The bride is a daughter of John Rinker and the groom works as a laborer.
In the county clerk’s office Leo Jennings Brill aged 21 son of Elkanah Brill and Miss Leota Larrick daughter of John Williams Larrick both of the county secured a marriage license.

Ninety eight percent of 125 000 union railroad machinists voted in November to strike with other trades if Congress enacts the Cummins railroad bill with its anti strike pro vision. William H. Johnston, president of the machinists, said the vote occurred before the Senate Interstate Commerce Committee reported the measure and that the result was not officially published to avoid pressuring Congress.
