The Pennsylvania Railroad reported 18 passengers two firemen and an express messenger injured early today in a collision east of Emporia Pennsylvania between an Buffalo to Philadelphia eastbound express and a westbound freight. None seriously hurt as they continued on. Occurred after 1 a m in north central Pennsylvania over 200 miles from Philadelphia. The express had 14 cars and derailed engines while freight truck derailed and several cars off center. There were 131 passengers with 82 in sleepers.
