Soviet built rockets miss U S B 52s above DMZ

County Woman Victim in Fatal Clearbrook Fire
Mrs. Fred Kitts, 26, near Clearbrook, died when a 1 1/2 story bungalow burned after 3:30 PM. Firefighters controlled the blaze along Rt. 11. Neighbors said she returned from work at Crown Cork and Seal, lit a coal stove, and kerosene may have caused the fire. Gary, 9, was at home and alerted others as flames spread. Tornadoes Kill 3 Injure 40 in Missouri Towns
Three people died and about 40 were injured as tornadoes tore through Potosi and nearby towns in southeastern Missouri. Youth held for murder in Clarke County strike
A 16 year old Negro was arrested within 36 hours of the murder of James Russell Jr. 79 near Brucetown Clarke County Sheriff John Slater said the youth is jailed in Charles Town W Va on a fugitive murder charge without bond awaiting transfer to Virginia. The victim a retired dairy farmer was beaten and shot his car then dumped in Opequon Creek. A short barreled .22 pistol is in police custody.
