York, Pa. December 21 Police report the first evidence of an oystermen racket after an oyster truck from Crisfield Maryland was hijacked and two Crisfield men abducted. Harold Ward and Milburn Elliott said they were held, driven north along the Susquehanna Trail, blindfolded, kept as prisoners for 24 hours. Police found no trace of the stolen truck. Two Men Report Being Held Up And Kidnapped
Two men from St James Maryland reported to Bethesda police they were robbed shot at handcuffed and kidnapped earlier this morning near Hagerstown. They identified themselves as Russell Clark 35 and Albert Huntzberry 22. The pair said intruders ransacked Clark home while Clark’s wife and children were held at bay and that six other men loaded Clark’s truck and another vehicle.
