Man Charged With Two Murders Captured in Greensboro N C
Paul L. Sheaffer 30 was captured in Greensboro North Carolina after warrants in Landisburg Pennsylvania for the clubbing deaths of Mr and Mrs George Shull and the kidnapping of their daughter Mrs Lester Kell. Police offered 600 dollars in rewards. He will be tried January 17 in Pennsylvania. Local authorities fear for his transferalsa security as troopers guard the jail.

The funeral for Col. Eirjah B. White a Virginia State Senator from the twenty ninth district was held at his home near Leesburg. Governor Harry F. Byrd and a Senate committee attended along with other state leaders. White born April 6 1864 near Luray was a farmer banker and horse cattle enthusiast. In Newburg New York on December 20 four Hines children aged between one and a half and eight were burned to death when a hot iron left at their feet by their mother ignited their bed clothing.
