The Winchester and Frederick county Red Cross chapter needs 1500 members at $1 for a year to reach its quota of 10,000,000 Christmas members. Ten teams are newly at work running booths and urge immediate membership to help Winchester meet its goal.
Red Cross personnel and Boy Scouts are summoned to Handley Library at 7 pm Saturday for a Red Cross membership parade. Participants urged to join and bring in new members to boost war effort. emphasis on timely arrival and recruiting.
