West Virginia man freed from jail re-arrested on bad check
Allen Wilson of Wardensville West Virginia completed a jail term Saturday but was met outside by Sheri Luther G Sheetz of Shenandoah county to be taken to Woodstock for charges of giving a worthless check to L J Burner of Strasburg. The alleged offense involved tires purchased over a year ago with a bogus check. Wilson, previously bailed, fled to West Virginia and later Virginia, then received a 60 day sentence before the sheriff claimed him.

Edmondson Falls On Steps Cracking Three Ribs
Charles E. Edmondson, a Middletown merchant, cracked three ribs after a fall at his home on Saturday night. He was carrying ree in one hand and a flashlight in the other when he lost balance on stairs. He has been bedbound since the injury.
