Fighting Christmas Mail Hustling at the Winchester PD

Winchester post office handles up to 320000 pieces daily during the holidays, routing mail to 32 area offices including Berryville and Front Royal. Postmaster J C Chamberlin notes no fixed mailing dates this year and credits early mailing with easing carrier pressure, aided by a new sorting system and temporary staff to fill vacancies.
