Driver Acquitted on 32 Counts of Manslaughter
Salinas California a bus driver Cisco G Espinosa 34 of a farm labor bus was acquitted on 32 counts Thursday in Monterey County Defense. The case centered on the Sept 17 crash near Chualar that killed 32 Mexican laborers. Attorney Robert Ames said the driver did not see or hear the train and cited poor peripheral vision and overcast weather.
