The Winchester Memorial Hospital will receive 105 600 of Ford Foundation funds, part of a 500 million national grant to colleges and hospitals. Fifteen Virginia colleges and 58 hospitals will share more than six million dollars, with details pending. Hospital administrator H F Alberti noted prior debts and free care figures, awaiting guidance on fund use. Other nearby hospitals also benefited with varied sums.
