A U S military court condemned 36 Dachau camp officials and guards to death by hanging for murder torture and starvation of inmates. One defendant got life imprisonment and three received 10 year terms. Witnesses testified 5000 Jews were killed and inmates were subjected to brutal abuse and live cremation.
