Orndorff Arrested After Orndorff Shooting Perry Near Stephens City
Frederick county farmer Ike Orndorff was arrested by Sheriff Luther Pannett at his home three miles east of Stephens City on a felonious assault charge for shooting Perry Sum Perry. Perry, wounded in the scalp face and hands, recovered and returned home from Winchester Memorial Hospital. Orndorff gave a self served account claiming Perry threatened with a dirk as he tried to leave with his wagon gear. He awaited a preliminary hearing with Commonwealth Attorney Burr Harrison posting $3 bond.
