Jail Break Escapes Two Youths From Winchester Jail
Still at large as of this afternoon two white youths Harland Palmer and David Pruder escaped from Winchester city jail sometime between 11 last night and 7 this morning. Palmer, arrested for larceny and held for Washington workhouse escape, and Pruder, a Cumberland Md youth held for horse theft and holdup, fled via a knotted blanket and a lower corridor transom aided by a salvaged tree limb.
