Courts ordered group trials though defense requested separate suits. police reported minimal disturbance with officers breaking up crowds using tear gas. Military patrols doubled in area around Schoolfield and Riverside Mills with 140 soldiers on duty and 90 policemen guarding gates. no major disorder reported. Francis J. Death of farmer Maurice Cosgriff from heart attack near Rosenberg
Maurice Cosgriff, a 77 year old Prederick County farmer, died at about 3 AM at the home of his cousins near Rosenberger after a sudden heart attack. Born November 6, 1852, he was unmarried and long-time resident on the family farm. Funeral set for St. John's Lutheran Church at 2 PM Saturday, with Rev. C. E. Seastrunk officiating. Nearest relatives include a half-brother and two half-sisters in Texas and several cousins in the area.

Robert B. Wright, a Frederick county native born at the old Wright homestead near Albin, died yesterday at his home in Charles Town Va after several days illness from pneumonia. He was 71, once in business in Williamsport Md, and leaves a widow Anne Ambler Wright, a son Robert B. L. Wright of Chicago, and a daughter Mrs. A. N Breckenridge of Summerville W Va. Burial will be in Williamsport tomorrow.

Hattman Dies Suddenly at Lakeland Florida Home
L M Hattman well known here died suddenly Monday morning at his Lakeland Florida home from heart disease. He was a former Lake Erie Railroad employee and had lived in Lakeland for winter seasons. He leaves Mrs Hattman and two daughters and three sons. The body was taken to Pittsburgh for interment.
