Reports from Mexico say Samuel Gompers head of the American Federation of Labor may have died during the night while en route from Mexico City to the United States. Dr. Brown died Monday after returning to Waynesboro from Winchester two weeks earlier where he visited relatives. He suffered a stroke of paralysis on his right side followed by pneumonia hastening his death. He studied at Johns Hopkins and became a leading physician in the Cumberland Valley. He is survived by his widow Mrs Jane Veronan, a brother Charpia cee and two private Ed ward Hollis and Miss Emma Brown. Funeral held in Waynesboro today.
