Allen M Foster 20 of Washington DC signed a statement admitting theft from four Winchester cars and about twenty other cases. Ralph Daniel Sparks 44 of Fairfax R F D and his son Ernest William Sparks 22 of Seat Pleasant Md are held. Foster aided in the thefts after a shooting at a Hyattsville filling station tied to a car chase along Routes 50 and 7.
