Mrs. C M Henkel led the Christmas seal drive for the District Nurse Association noting that over 1300 was raised in Winchester and Frederick County. The funds go mainly to the Virginia Tuberculosis Association and State Tuberculosis Commission with 75 percent returned to local efforts and 10 percent for the national group. The Winchester clinic operates bi monthly, serves white and colored patients, and relies on nurses and volunteers to provide care and transportation to six patients in the sanatorium.

Edward Dyke of the county was found guilty in the County Magistrate’s Court on a trespass charge for entering Isaac B. Frye’s land. He was ordered to pay costs of 34.4.
