In New York Conrad H. Mann president of the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce and Missouri unemployment chairman was sentenced to five months in prison for violating federal lottery laws. Bernard C. McGuire received one year and one day and a 12000 dollar fine. Frank E. Hering, Notre Dame University trustee and Eagle magazine editor, got four months and Hering pays 4000 dollars. Judge Coleman stayed execution for 10 days as bail matters are reviewed. He said the lottery was honestly conducted.
