Charles Edward Cochran a World War veteran and former sharpshooter died at 7 52 in Roanoke Virginia Veterans Hospital He was a Frederick county native son of John T Cochran and the late Mary Rebecca Cochran husband of Ruth Lawyer and father of Mary and Rebecca Cochran He had lived in Roanoke for two years for treatment Funeral services are set for 2 pm tomorrow at the Presbyterian Church with a military service at the grave Interment will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery

Winchester businessman and former city council member W. W. Dellinger plans to enter Garfield Hospital in Washington DC for a major operation. He is currently staying with relatives in the area and has faced intermittent ill health in recent years.

Ashley Orndorff and Ollie Williams, workmen at the M. J. Grove Lime Co. in Stephens City, were described as satisfactory today. Orndorff suffered a broken shoulder and Williams a badly cut eye. both injuries showed slight improvement and they may be released tomorrow from the hospital.
