Frederick Board Ends Era with Mixed Reflections
Five members of the Frederick County Board of Supervisors look back on four years of action and controversy as they prepare for their final meeting. They cite water and sewer expansion, parks, planning, and staff creation as achievements, while criticising failures in Kernstown water projects and school land purchases. The chairman notes sweeping progress, while historians may call this a catch up board that reshaped county relations with Winchester.
