In Harford County Circuit Court Herbert H. Cox Jr. 16 pleaded guilty to second degree murder for the slaying of Grainger G. Browning 38. two girls Ida May Price 15 and Leona Cunningham 14 had murder charges dropped and would plead guilty as accessories. The trio from an Alexandria trailer camp was linked to Browning who offered them a ride north after a trip to a taxi dance hall. Browning was shot in the back of the neck and died from a hemorrhage with other injuries noted by the medical examiner.
