Attorney J. Foster Gray reports the heirs of J A McCauley sold the southwest corner of Brad dock and Monmouth streets to W Taylor Wall for 5570 dollars. The brick dwelling fronts Brad dock nearly 59 feet and runs 182 feet west. Built years ago by Hunter B Grimm, the home was once sold for about 1000 dollars in cash.
Attorney James P. Reardon for the heirs of Miss Minerva Beatley sold the northeast corner property at Main and Clifford to James Amick a Winchester stock dealer for 3100 dollars. The Main street front is 26 feet with a 140 foot depth. The sale occurred at public auction after spirited bidding.
The December term of the Circuit Court of Frederick County opened with Judge F B Whiting presiding. The docket was called but no business was transacted as there are no criminal cases or other suits to hear this term, the first such occurrence in months.

A child of Mr. Joen Stottlemeyer was seriously injured last evening when she fell on a bottle at Market Street and Fairfax Lane. The glass cut her wrist nearly to the bone and Dr. J. R. Andersen was called to stitch the wound. the child is doing as well as can be expected today.
