Leitz microscope boosts LFCC biology teaching tools
A Leitz compound binocular microscope with two interchangeable cameras joined LFCCs Biology Department. John Glover says its optics variable light sources dark field bright field and phase contrast enhance student viewing. Five lenses magnify 100x to 1250x aiding lectures and slide photography for nuclei chloroplasts and other matter.
